Brava Studio Session presents a staged reading of Robert O'Hara's

An American Ma(u)l

Directed by Edris Cooper-Anifowoshe

America is on the brink of economic disaster but the newly-elected President has a plan! Eli Whitney IV has invented a new cotton, a cotton crop that will save America and one that must be hand-picked, and the newly elected prez knows just who to press into service to pick it!

Robert O'Hara's scathing and hilarious political satire about the creeping return of enslavement in the 21st Century is eerily timely and insightful. Featuring members of the cast of Bootycandy.

This is a FREE event with a $5 suggested donation.
