Fantasies, like dreams, lay at the intersection of imagination and desire. Sometimes we fantasize about wanting to fly, about having superpowers, or about starting a colony on Mars. But we've discovered that most people's fantasies are more... social. Many fantasize about love in impossible circumstances — a second chance when it's already too late. We fantasize about conquering our demons, or to be influential or famous. Sometimes, we fantasize about getting the upper hand. For this reason, fantasy is deeply revealing. It highlights our perceived limitations, our shadows and sometimes what we think we just couldn’t (or shouldn’t) get away with. Since they are unrestrained, they showcase our wildest visions and deepest hopes. By allowing ourselves the freedom to dive into our fantasies, we enter dialogue with our community about what's closest to our hearts.
