Acción Latina invites you to participate in Paseo Artístico: “Protect The Sacred.” A full day of free, interactive, bilingual local art activities for the entire family and community on Saturday October 12, 2019 from 12PM-8PM in the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District, San Francisco.
As part of Paseo Artistíco, from 3pm to 4pm in Brava’s Cabaret, Vanessa Sanchez and La Mezcla will perform an excerpt from Pachuquísmo - an all-female exploration of the untold story of Chicanas during the 1940s Zoot Suit Riots through Tap dance, Mexican Zapateado, Son Jarocho, Jazz music, spoken word and archival video. During this hour there will also be performance by Loco Bloco and Jorge Molina.
