Who gets to define it? Who gets to dream it? With nearly 40 million residents there are endless individual variations, but they are unified by a common, persistent yearning for some vision of a better life on the horizon.
Join The California Report Magazine for an evening of personal storytelling, live music, and movement, showcasing the rich variety, passion, and depth that animates all California dreamers. Featuring stories by journalists April Dembosky, Peter Gilstrap, Marisol Medina-Cadena, Pendarvis Harshaw, Vanessa Rancaño, and host Sasha Khokha, performances by dancer My-Linh Le and R&B singer Michael Marshall, and live epistolary readings by California residents about their own lived pursuits of golden opportunity.
