A la bloguera y activista cubana Sandra Abd'Allah-Álvarez en una conversación comunitaria sobre el feminismo negro cubano, el feminismo interseccional y las muchas formas en que el género y la raza están interrelacionadas en América Latina y Estados Unidos.
Sandra Abd'Allah-Álvarez Ramírez es bloguera y activista cubana con una Maestría en Estudios de Género que trabaja en feminismo negro contemporáneo. Es la autora del blog «Cuban Black tuvo que ser», donde comparte artículos e información contra el racismo, el sexismo, la homofobia y otras discriminaciones contra las mujeres en Cuba.
La Colectiva Feminista Sur es una colectiva feminista que reúne a inmigrantes latinoamericanas que viven en el Área de la Bahía.

Join Brava and Colectiva Feminista Sur for a community conversation with Cuban blogger and activist Sandra Abd'Allah-Álvarez. The topic of the conversation will be Black-Cuban and intersectional Feminism, and the interrelation of gender and race throughout Latin America and the US.
The conversation will be held in Spanish.
ABOUT
Sandra Abd'Allah-Álvarez Ramírez is a Cuban blogger and activist with a Master's Degree in Gender Studies who works on contemporary black feminism. Sandra is the author of the blog “Cuban Black had to be”, where she shares articles and information against racism, sexism, homophobia and other discriminations targeting women in Cuba.
The Colectiva Feminista Sur is a feminist collective that gathers Latin American immigrants living in the Bay Area.
