Fresh Festival 2020: Fresh Exchanges

FRESH 2020 presents FRESH Exchanges – social, inclusive, easy access community events created to cultivate, invigorate and cross-pollinate the dance, music and performance scenes, players and audiences. Fresh Exchanges will take place at Brava on Wednesdays and Thursdays for three weeks in January. A list of Fresh Exchanges events happening at Brava are listed below. FRESH Exchanges are $5-$15 suggested donation [with no one turned away for lack of funds].

ABOUT FRESH FESITVAL 2020
FRESH is produced by ALTERNATIVA, directed by dancer Kathleen Hermesdorf with musician Albert Mathias, is an apparatus for deeply integrated contemporary dance and music via collaboration, creation, improvisation, performance, production, curation and education. Active in San Francisco since 1998, the organization supports the creative work of the directors, known for research, practice and performance pieces that explore human behaviors and conditions, corporeality and other ineffabilities. FRESH 2020 features 4 weekends of Performances, 3 weeks and weekends of Practices, and 9+ Exchanges, accessible and inclusive community events. FRESH 2020 is inspired by the theme of TENDER and its multiple meanings and transmitted through the experience of 50+ cutting-edge artists from the Bay Area and beyond. The Festival is open to all curious, adventurous and serious bodies.
