You’ll see host Joel Anderson perform an all-new Slow Burn story, one that illuminates the creative lives and tragic deaths of Tupac Shakur and Christopher “Biggie” Wallace.

Anderson will talk with Atron Gregory about working as Tupac’s first manager and launching the rapper’s career in the Bay Area. Gregory is a longtime hip-hop insider, going back to his days as a co-founder of the World Class Wreckin’ Cru — one of the West Coast’s pioneering rap groups — and as a tour manager for NWA.

Then Anderson and Slow Burn producer Christopher Johnson will be on the hot seat as a special guest grills them about the making of this season of Slow Burn.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for the live show.

What we’re listening to: Slate’s “Slow Burn” podcast. As a child of the ’90s….I’m enjoying the third season, about the murders of Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur.
