Brava presents a special engagement of MARGA GOMEZ’s

On Sunday, May 31 at 5pm, Marga Gomez and director Adrian Alea Alexander will pick up where they left off (two months ago on the eve of the Nationwide shutdown) to bring you an exclusive livestream performance of Spanking Machine! 

By turns funny and disturbing, Marga Gomez’s Spanking Machine recounts sadistic nuns on poppers, tender vampires, barrio life, childhood misdemeanors, parental post-nasal drip, fear, assault and suppressed memory.

The 60-minute show will seamlessly intercut Marga performing LIVE from her “home stage,” with footage from Marga’s performance at her final invited dress rehearsal in March. “There was a handful of us in the studio when we learned that shelter-in-place was imminent and Spanking Machine would not be opening that Friday,” Marga recalls. “So we put on a helluva final dress rehearsal and filmed it.”

Tickets are $20 (with an option to donate on top of the ticket price).
