The June 18 Paseo Artístico highlights Latino Essential Workers of the Mission with “Somos Esenciales” featuring a special performance about domestic workers and day laborers from the Mission Food Hub experiences with the COVID pandemic, written and directed by Paul S. Flores, as well as Vanessa Sanchez and John Leaños dance film “Ghostly Labor,” Youth Speaks poets, Francisco Herrera and band, and a special recognition of the Health Promotoras of Calle 24 Latino Cultural District.

Acción Latina presenta Paseo Artistico: ‘Somos Esenciales / We Are Essential’, un gratiuto performance compartiendo historias de trabajadores esenciales Latinos de la Misión. El anfitrión de este paseo de arte comunitario bilingüe y gratuito que se lleva a cabo en la calle 24, en el Distrito Cultural Latino, el cual incluirá una presentación especial en el Mission Food Hub en La Alabama y la calle 19. Todo el Paseo Artistico se llevará a cabo de 12:00 a 18:00PM, (12PM-6PM) en varios lugares.

4PM — Somos Esenciales performance featuring Paul S. Flores, with Andreína Maldonado, David Calderon, Jessica Recinos, Claudia Portilla Vergara, Rafael Flores, Adriana Camarena. MISSION FOOD HUB (701 Alabama Street @ 19th St.)
4:30PM — Short Documentary Film “Somos Esenciales” & Publication Presentation: Rafael Flores & Adriana Camarena and Essential Researchers – MISSION FOOD HUB
