The celebration continues for the release of “Through Time”, MC Pauze’s debut album on Solidarity Records. On Saturday, February 18th, The "Through Time Album Release Party” will be going down at the Brava Cabaret. The Mission MC himself will be performing his first full length album right in the heart of La Misión, accompanied by an amazing group of guest performers.
Hosted by Professa Gabel, with performances from Monk HTS, SundaY and Smooveez, along with the musical accompaniment of DJ’s Jima & Dadu, this show represents the culmination of growth that has occurred “Through Time”.

about the artists
Professa Gabel | Although still floating through his twenties, Professa Gabel is already a seasoned artist and innovative persona. With his 9th album on the way in 2023, he continues to fly effortlessly over conventional lanes and broaden the reach of his other media enterprises. As a part of a San Francisco-based collective FNG (Family Not A Group), Gabel has been drawing crowds weekly in major cities, captivating a growing fanbase. PG has been a notable presence in many supergroups over the last decade, collaborating with a list of artists that would make any A&R swoon. In 2023, his upcoming project with Monk HTS "Niche Horderves", air-tight live set with DJ Jima and brilliantly stony creative ventures promise to launch his career even further into higher heights.
MC Pauze is an Emcee, Songwriter, & Percussionist born & raised in the Mission District of San Francisco, CA. As a member of Justin’s Case, The Watershed, and Old Soul Kollective, he uses his music as a platform to heal, communicate, and shine light on injustices occurring in his community and beyond. Pauze has dedicated his life to the movement of Hip-Hop because of its ability to uplift and the tools it provides for critical thinking, about society and the role of the people within it. He proudly claims the mantle of “Conscious Hip-Hop Artist” and purposefully creates music with a message of justice, resistance, and love.
Smooveez is a 27 year old, San Francisco based and born producer of Hip hop and electronic music whose styles reminisce of J Dilla, MF DOOM, Flying Lotus, and Madlib. His music is heavily influenced by Jazz and Soul. Contributing beat production and engineering to underground hip hop projects and live beat sets to events over the past 7 years in the San Francisco Bay Area
SundaY | Sunday Simon aka SundaY is a Black queer artist whose dream is to spread messages of awareness and happiness through her music. Combining her interests and passions with her real life experiences, SundaY takes you on a journey through love, loss, happiness, pain, and her overall worldview. Please enjoy the ride.
Monk HTS | Having spent the last few years cultivating modern Bay Area-Hip Hop sounds as a producer/engineer Monk has already worked with the likes of Paul Wall, San Quinn, Freeway, Mozzy, Messy Marv, Equipto, Zion I, Michael Marshall & Lil B. Monk has switched his hand from solely producing to putting his lyrical abilities on the map as well. With his debut project, "Safe Travels" Monk elevates the local sound and culture with raw talent and ability both as a music producer,singer and rap artist. Meshing live instruments—from acoustic strings and guitars, to trumpet solos and unique percussion—with samples from soul, jazz, funk, and rock genres in classic Hip Hop style, Monk’s music provides refreshing crisp flavor and soul, as well as an artistic vision that takes whomever is listening on a journey through the San Francisco streets.
