Time for a “Funny Mami Summer 2023” with our sizzling August 17th comedy line-up. Scroll and see our sunny Queens. "Who’s Your Mami Comedy" has been packing them into Brava's Cabaret for 6 months now with the coolest audience of “women in comedy” lovers. Did we mention Good Vibes, A/C and full bar if you're thirsty? Our 90 minute shows start at 7:30 pm every third Thursday monthly.

ABOUT THE COMEDIANs
Emily Van Dyke | Originally from the Midwest, Emily loves best friend tattoos and telling inappropriate stories at baby showers. Emily has opened for Colin Quinn and Judah Friedlander and performed at most every comedy club in the Bay Area as well as SF Sketchfest. She’s also a mom.

Jalisa Robinson performs at and produces San Francisco’s “Cheaper Than Therapy,” which welcomes over 25,000 guests per year. She’s opened for Hannibal Burress and regularly performs at San Jose Improv, Alameda Comedy Club and comedy festivals including SF Sketchfest.

Betty Pazmiño is a very funny Libra who remembers what La Misión used to be like back in the day. She has emceed and danced at San Francisco Carnaval and hosted Brava’s New Year’s Eve Comedy Fiesta. She is also a dedicated Spanish bilingual educator. Get ready for Betty!
Kristee Ono loves burritos and is dying to tell you about it. She is the co-host of the popular Bay Area’s “Mental Health Comedy Hour” and a producer of the comedy debate podcast "Nerd Rage: The Great Debates.”

Candy Shaw has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. She was a finalist in California’s Funniest Female Contest, a favorite at San Francisco Comedy Day and is a founding member of The Cougar Comedy Collective.

Vicki Kozel (host) is originally from Ukraine. She is a software engineer by day and a comedian by night. She performs all over the Bay Area and was recently named a finalist at the 2023 San Francisco Funny Fest Comedy Competition. Brava is thrilled to have her back at MAMI!

Who’s Your Mami Comedy was created as a hilariously trenchant response to misogyny in the comedy industry. But in the upside down new normal Brava’s women-led, rotating line up of deeply funny, culturally diverse, subversive comedians will mix truths with hot takes, a little raunch, and a mega dose of ‘red hat’ unfriendly weaponized wit aiming where no punchline has gone before.
