Pousada Azul is the story of life, death and rebirth, amongst two African American expats and one elusive traveler, whose lives intersect over one rainy season, at a guest house overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Salvador Brazil.

Nathan Yungerberg lives between Brooklyn and Oakland. His play's: The Son of Dawn and Pousada Azul, had member readings at the Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis in 2012. Pousada Azul was also featured in the Blackboard reading series at the Cell in NYC. He has also participated in the Classical Theater of Harlem's Playwright's Playground and Theaterspeak's Write Out Front. Nathan was also a season 4 playwright for The Fire This Time festival, which featured his ten minute play: Orchids and Polka Dots.
