Finally, a film festival for the rest of us! Enjoy a weekend of great free films and visual art resisting Frameline: the SF LGBT Film Festival’s pinkwashing of Israeli apartheid. Celebrate equality and justice for all while you cruise the crowd.
No tickets required. All programs are free and open to all. Doors open half an hour before the first show each day and Saturday evening. Come early to get seats, schmooze and check out the visual art installations by Art Forces and Happy/L.A. Hyder.

Criminal Queers visualizes a radical trans/queer struggle against the prison industrial complex and toward a world without walls. With shorts "Shit Manarchists Say" (Lacey Johnson, Rebecca Ruiz Sunwoo), Frameline, Say No to Bibi Bux (John Greyson), and Disability Justice for Palestine (Sins Invalid and Micah Bizant) This program is captioned; ASL interpretation will be available for discussion.

Followed by a panel discussion, featuring representatives of Queers Against Israeli Apartheid (QuAIA) Seattle, Jewish Voice for Peace-Seattle, Queers Against Israeli Terrorism (QUIT!), and Arab Resource & Organizing Center (AROC), with possible appearances by Dean Spade and comrades from QuAIA Vancouver.

3:30 pm, Sneak Preview: MAJOR (Annalise Ophelian and StormMiguel Florez)
Get a first look at this brand new documentary in progress about transgender elder and pioneering civil rights activist Miss Major Griffin-Gracy. A formerly incarcerated Black transgender elder and activist who has been fighting for the rights of trans women of color for over 40 years. Director Annalise Ophelian and others involved in the film will be on hand for a discussion. Captioned; check website to confirm ASL interpretation for discussion.
Reinas de Los Angeles, by Byron Jose, narrates the oral hysteries of trans women and drag queen performers who bring to life the stages of Latino gay bars in Los Angeles from the ‘80s to present day. Captioned.

The Path To Coming Out: Queer Lebanese Speak (Maher Sabry)
Maher Sabry interviews three Lebanese people in the San Francisco/Bay Area. The self-identified trans man (Amir), butch dyke (Nayla) and pansexual man (Bassam) speak candidly about coming out to family and friends.

A group of undocumented immigrants make the dangerous crossing to the U.S., led by a “coyote,” or human trafficker. Once inside, they are taken to a safe house that is anything but safe, and Marco’s story unfolds. Sin Visa lets the viewer experience the day-to-day life of someone living without documents.
