Shake The Bay

An evening of belly dance benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association

Show will begin promptly at 8pm

This 90 minute, family friendly show will feature some of the Bay Area’s finest contemporary belly dance artists and ensembles. Performances will be presented by fusion artists Surreyya Hada, Ego Umbra, EvilEye, RockaBelly, Amberetta, and many more to be announced.

This diverse mix of artists will dazzle you with a wide variety of music, costuming, showmanship, and props. Belly dance is a wonderful art form, which has roots in many ancient cultures. Today, belly dance is practiced throughout the world, and is often fused with other dance forms such as ballet, modern, and jazz. This dance form is empowering, creating self-confidence and a strong sense of community for each performer. 

Shake the Bay will entertain and inspire you. Come for the love of dance, and to support a wonderful cause. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Alzheimer’s Association via the San Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Representatives from the walk will be in the lobby to answer any questions you may have about the walk, and also to accept additional cash donations.
