Latin Standards

A work in progress by Marga Gomez

Fri & Sat, April 1-2, 8pm
Sun April 3, 3pm matinee w/ talkback

Marga revisits the triumphs and demons of her father Willy Chevalier: comedian, producer, songwriter, Cafe El Pico spokesperson, and a prominent figure in the golden era of New York’s Latino culture. His influence spurred Marga on her journey as a queer Latina performing artist with all it's ups and downs. It's a loving story of perseverance and creative addiction passed down from immigrant father to lesbian daughter and entertainment without borders and limits.  Latin Standards will be Marga’s twelfth solo show.
