Paseo Artístico presents
Mujerx En Acción: Womxn Who Lead
SATURDAY, MARCH 20, 2021
3pm - 6pm PST via Facebook Live
The Mission District’s FREE bimonthly community art stroll returns on Saturday, March 20 to celebrate powerful womxn leaders in our community!
Paseo Artístico organizations and partners in the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District are coming together to highlight local womxn who inspire, lead and create more opportunities for womxn and people of color to share their voices. We want to recognize how important culture is to communicate the message of maintaining our health and planning for a better future. Our womxn leaders have made the Mission District remarkable with important contributions to cultural institutions, traditions and small businesses that help us get through this crisis together.
Hosted by Acción Latina’s Executive Director, Fatima Ramirez, and visual artist and designer, DJ Agana, this event features performances by some of our favorite local artists, including Juana Alicia, Metzi Quetzal, Tania Santiago, Krissy Keefer, Ariane Cortez, Martha Rodriguez Salazar, Barbara Jane Reyes, Twin Walls (muralists Elaine Chu & Marina Perez Wong), Precita Eyes, Cheyene Concepción and Camila Magrane, and Brava’s own Carlie Mari.
