Who’s Your Mami Comedy returns with an amazing line-up of fierce and badass comedians!
Headliner Maggie Maye made her television debut on Conan and was featured on Last Call with Carson Daly and Gotham Comedy Live. Maggie has performed stand up in festivals such as Just for Laughs, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest (as one of the Sketchfest Dozen), Comedy & Oddity Festival, SXSW, and the All Jane Comedy Festival. She’s opened for Gladys Knight, Earth, Wind and Fire and other huge acts.
Yayne Abeba is a first generation Ethiopian comedian and activist. Yayne finds constant humor in her experiences growing up in two totally opposite worlds; her family’s Ethiopian traditional culture of Ethiopia, fused with her free and wild Haight Asbury neighborhood. Her television credits include NBC's Last Comic Standing and "Africa Laughs with Yayne Abeba" on The Africa Channel.
Becky Yamamoto is a comedian, actor, and writer who has been featured at SF Sketchfest. Her webseries UNINSPIRED was an official New York Television Festival selection and received acclaim from The Onion AV Club, Indiewire, Bust and Glamour.
Veronica Garza is a Brooklyn-based stand up comedian raised in Dallas. Veronica’s been featured on MTV’s “Decoded”, NPR, Sirius XM, and Daily Mail. When not writing and performing jokes she posts about her cute puppy on social media.
Marga Gomez is the host and curator of "Who’s Your Mami Comedy" (now going into our second year). Marga is a Brava Artist-In-Residence, writer/performer of 13 solo plays, award winning stand up comedian and she also teaches solo performance online at margagomez.com.

Who’s Your Mami Comedy was created as a hilariously trenchant response to misogyny in the comedy industry. But in the upside down new normal Brava’s women-led, rotating line up of deeply funny, culturally diverse, subversive comedians will mix truths with hot takes, a little raunch, and a mega dose of ‘red hat’ unfriendly weaponized wit aiming where no punchline has gone before.
