No Se Acabó - JA Latin Rock Reimagined is the story of Julio Areas’ musical family journey from generations in Nicaragua to the San Francisco Mission District, from Latin Rock to Afro-Cuban rhythms and way beyond. Julio’s uncle Chepito Areas, original timbalero of Santana and Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and Karl Perazzo, current timbalero for 31 years, are the bedrock sound for Julio Areas’ innovation and creativity. Co-producer Marco Diaz brings Julio Areas’ vision for the music to life through his arrangements, and the results are a joy to listen and dance to.
53 All-Star and emerging Bay Area musicians performing original songs in danceable fusion genres take part in the project, showing respect for ancestors, mentors and teachers, and each telling a story of Julio Areas’ journey as a musician. Surprising combinations of musicians across generations and genres develop a distinct sound and vision that will spark new life and creativity reimagining Latin Rock!

8:30p - NO SE ACABÓ concert will be a Magical Evening featuring some of the music from this very Large & Historic Musical Endeavor!
