On September 21st enjoy our harvest of freshest jokes and most delicious political take downs from headliner Betsy Salkind ("Showtime's Fierce Funny Women" "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno") and more. Did we mention our good vibes, A/C and full bar if you're thirsty? Our 90 minute shows start at 7:30 pm every third Thursday monthly.

ABOUT THE COMEDIANs
Betsy Salkind is a comedian and writer based in LA (also known as The Squirrel Lady.) Her stand up career includes an early banning in Boston, where she performed “The Emperor’s Getting Fucked,” a short piece about misogyny, racism, and viciousness in the comedy clubs. Several years later she reemerged in New York and LA comedy clubs and is a regular at NY’s Comic Strip and LA’s Comedy Store. Her television appearances include “Girls Night Out,” “Stand-Up, Stand-Up,” “ARLI$$,” “Pet Shop with Andy Kindler,” the “TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO,” and most recently in the SHOWTIME special “Fierce Funny Women.” Betsy has headlined at Brava's Comedy Fiesta and we are thrilled to have her back.
Marga Gomez is a GLAAD award winning comedian and solo performer back in town after touring her comedy in Santa Fe, New York and even Walnut Creek. The late Robin Williams described Marga as "a Lesbian Lenny Bruce." In 2019 she created “Who’s Your Mami Comedy” as a Brava artist-in-residence. Her 14th solo play "Swimming With Lesbians" will premiere at Brava in October. She teaches and coaches solo performance online.

Angie Krass Returns to MAMI by popular demand after slaying our PRIDE show.The Mississippi Madam of Mayhem, has never been one to play by the rules or live life by the norms.She has been hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as “superior southern fried comedy.” She returns to the Bay after killing it at the 2023 New Orleans Queer Comedy Fest. Her other credits include Oakland Comedy Festival, Boston’s Woman Comedy Festival, Oakland’s Comedy Edge, and Seattle’s International Comedy Competition.
Priya Guyadeen was born in a small town in the Caribbean. Whether she's talking about growing up with strict parents or navigating the dating world Pryia's original humor and style has taken her to stages from coast to coast.She was recently named the winner of Joker's Theater 2023 Comedy Competition.

Who’s Your Mami Comedy was created as a hilariously trenchant response to misogyny in the comedy industry. But in the upside down new normal Brava’s women-led, rotating line up of deeply funny, culturally diverse, subversive comedians will mix truths with hot takes, a little raunch, and a mega dose of ‘red hat’ unfriendly weaponized wit aiming where no punchline has gone before.
